An oldie that I was animating in Flash. I lost the file when I goofed and erased an external drive, but I found a jpeg of it hidden away with my wallpapers.
100% Flash here, theme once again…Pirates. I’m not sure why I keep doing pirates, oh well. I may tweak some colors and some small animations will occur eventually as well.
*Edit* I’ve added some animation to this, though minor, and a little interactivity…very little. Click the cannons for a little smoke and fire. I composed the music in Garage Band, and as mentioned above all animation and art created entirely in Flash. I was interested in animating my foreground pirates, but that idea was really out of the scope of my class which isn’t really an animation class, just a Flash class which I was required to take to complete my degree.
These videos I created a couple years ago while working at EDO Professional Services for their booth at a tradeshow. The movies, Performance and Solutions, coincided with posters in the booth, which thematically matched with color palette and information. I helped concept the idea for the booth, which was a departure from the usual approach of the company, which was “throw a bunch a crap up and hope people can decipher it and find it interesting. I had about three days to produce these, which involved me creating the music in good ‘ole Garageband, collect graphics from various projects, many of which I worked on (two standouts that I like are the sub emergency at the end of the performance video and the next generation battleship build animation on the solutions video), then bringing the mess together into a cohesive whole with After Effects.
Another illustration project. We needed to do it all with vector graphics in Illustrator. This is my submission. I’m not happy with the silhouette of the figure, but overall I think it looks cool.
This is one of six pirate icon illustrations I created for class. This is the best of the bunch, the others suffering from different levels of rush job. I may post a couple more later.

Watching Apocolypto, I was very inspired by the visuals of the movie, but rather unimpressed with the actual execution of the film. Anyway, I felt compelled to illustrate my own comic book version of a Mayan Warrior.

I usually have to create portraits at some point here and there for school. Sometimes I really like doing them, especially when I try to make digital tools look like analog. The first one I was trying to recreate the look of pastel, which has a smooth chalky look, and for those who don’t know, actually considered a form of painting rather than drawing. The second portrait was an attempt at capturing the feel of conte. Two guesses who the portrait is of.

This is a corporate identity package I created for SDunson Consulting. The designs include a logo, stationary, and proposed website design. The live website can be seen at www.sdunson.com, though I do not maintain the website, I only developed the initial build.

This is part of a series of illustrations I created in Photoshop, in a layered fashion to allow for interactive animations to illustrate procedures in replacement and repair of different items within the cabinet.
This is a selection of various posters I’ve created for companies to utilize at trade shows and other marketing events.

This is a small animation created for the client to be used as a email based advertising campaign. The animation was completed with Flash and Photoshop. Select the image to view the animation.
